DESCRIPTION:Technology Services & Training Center\n9181 Poston Road\nJonesboro\, GA 30238 \nJoin the Office of Digital Equity in writing letters to Congressman Scott\, regarding the importance of continuing to fund the Affordable Connectivity Program\, or ACP. The ACP is a federal subsidy of $30/month for low-income households that began in early 2022\, to lower the cost of home internet or cell phone service. It is projected that ACP funding will be exhausted in early to mid 2024\, with no current legislation proposed to continue the program. We need the ACP! Come and write with us! \nIn-person registration is limited and required. If you would like to participate\, but are not unable to attend in person\, please email us at digital.equity@claytoncountyga.gov to request a Zoom login. Light refreshments will be served. \nMasks are not required\, but are recommended.

We are excited to partner with Woodforest Bank to host a free workshop for Clayton County residents on understanding their credit report and credit scores\, and the importance of financial health/literacy. \nThere will be 2 sessions available. Please check your schedule\, and plan to join us at either 01:00pm – 01:45pm or 02:00pm – 02:45pm. You are welcome to attend both sessions if you’d like. All residents are invited to attend\, regardless of their banking institution.
