SUMMARY:1st Annual Clayton County Office of Digital Equity Youth Empowerment Summit
DESCRIPTION:Technology Services & Training Center\n9181 Poston Road\nJonesboro\, GA 30238 \nJoin us on October 7\, 2023 as we close out Digital Inclusion Week 2023 (#DIW2023). We want to dedicate one day during #DIW2023 to pour into our Clayton County youth (K-12)\, and let their voices be heard. During this event\, we will provide information about digital career paths like fiber installation and Cybersecurity\, we will discuss the importance of digital literacy\, and we will provide school supplies\, certificate scholarships for technology programs\, laptops\, tablets and more. \nDue to limited space\, we will only be accepting 25 registrations\, one per household\, for students in a Clayton County K-12 school\, for the laptop giveaway and workshop from 10:00am – 12:00pm. (For example\, if you have two children attending a K-12 Clayton County school\, only one can be registered for the giveaway.) Households that have never received a free device from a Clayton County Office of Digital Equity event are eligible to register. Please register to attend at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/claycoflw. \nFrom 12:00pm – 3:00pm\, we will continue the event with lunch\, presentations and more giveaways. All are welcome to attend.
