1st Annual Office of Digital Equity Block Party

Our first community block party was a HUGE success! It was SUPER HOT, but we enjoyed great music by DJ Primo, great eats by Chef Shawn, a bouncy house for the kids and family games, great information shared by our community partners, vendors and departments, and of course FREE laptops for our community members from Compudopt Atlanta. A special thank you to our State and County leaders that stopped by to support the event, Oneisha Freeman Rojales (Georgia Technology Authority), Chairman Jeff Turner, Commissioner Felicia Franklin, and C.O.O. Detrick Stanford. We also sincerely thank all sponsors that made a financial or in-kind contribution to ensure that the event was a success, including City of Forest Park, Clayton County Senior Services, The Kroger Company, Clayton County Water Authority, Clayton County Parks & Recreation, Warren Bond Photography, MARTA, Food Depot (Lovejoy), and Pembroke Townhomes. We promise to never have a block party in the middle of the Georgia summer again, but we hope to see you next year!
